In 2015, the UN gathered and decided that there is an ardent need for lasting change on a number of fronts which are causing a lot of inequities all over the world.

Hence, the UN Sustainable Development Goals came into being. These goals are aimed at creating a world which is better for all inhabitants of planet Earth – including animals and flora.

Sustainability has become a buzzword in the recent years. Even though it’s a great dinner conversation topic, words are blown away with the wind. Many things are easier said than done but the reality is our environment can only be sustainable when we don’t destroy any of its resources. A sustainable future can only be achieved when the words become plans and when they are put into action.

With the passage of time, global warming has successfully captured the attention of the world leaders and compelled them to take drastic decisions and measures to ensure that the effects of global warming can be controlled. However, in order to do this, the governments have not only made certain environmental laws but also allotted a certain amount of budget in order to tackle with the environmental issues.

Greenhouse gases are relevant as they keep the earth’s weather nice and stable in order for the earth to be habitable for all living beings. But what happens when those same gases become out of balance? What if they become a threat to living things instead of help?

There are two different terms for the reduction of carbon in the atmosphere; zero carbon footprint and carbon neutralizing. These two terms are different from each other but have the same goal. Both have a lot of advantages for humans as well as the Earth we live on. Making the Earth a better place is our duty.

The ecosystem of the world is being affected by climate change. As global warming continues to occur natural resources are at more risk than ever before of disappearing. Most of these natural resources are also finite, this means that they will not reproduce themselves in order to continue populating the earth, such as the case of some animals that are about to become extinct.

How many of us have learned how to build loving relationships? Where did we learn? At home? At school? There is an art and science to building strong relationships. As humans, we have been interacting with the environment since people first walked the Earth. Our emotional and physical attachment to the natural world has started way back then.

A carbon footprint is a measurement of sorts that indicates where we are and what direction we are headed. There are many aspects to this particular footprint and the implications of its size and scope are quite extensive. The main piece of information that scientists are concerned with when it comes to these marks left by a moving body is what it means for the overall well-being of the planet.

The primary problem with carbon offsetting and it’s biggest criticism lies in the fact that it avoids dealing with the root of the problem. Carbon Offsetting does nothing to reduce the amount of dangerous greenhouse gases being produced in the first place.

The role played by carbon offsets is effecting every one of us. Dealing with it makes a huge difference for both businesses as well as individuals as it gives us the chance of solving the issue of global warming. Offsetting the emissions of carbon dioxide on an individual level makes a big difference, as these emissions contribute a major deal towards climate change.
